29/10/2020 I am writing this. But it will be posted at a later date.
I’m sat here in my bedroom, clacking away at my keyboard updating my blog about all the cool things I’ve done in the last couple months.
What a jolly time I’m having. My housemate knocks on the door and requests my presence downstairs. Uh oh. I’m in trouble?
House meeting. One housemate who isn’t present at the meeting (upstairs) has been tested positive for Covid-19.
I don’t know why it still hits us heavy, it was bound to happen. The amount of cases we’ve had after coming out of lockdown is madness. It would have been more surprising if we never had a run in with Miss Rona.
So 2 weeks isolation. 2 weeks away from the gym that I just started getting into a good relationship with. 2 weeks away from school so I won’t be getting paid. 2 weeks away from friends and going outside.
Video call anyone? Meet me on zoom for a wild night in.
We all decided to get tested to see what the situation is. we drove in my housemate’s car to the testing centre. A concentration camp looking site. I hate official government type places. It makes me so nervous. You should see me going through airport security. I didn’t pack any drugs and weapons but why do I sweat like I have??
But, it was a bonding exercise. All 4 of us can look back fondly of the time we sat in a fogged up car in a car park in a deadly virus testing facility, ramming swabs down our throats and up our noses whilst we cracked blow job jokes and trying not to cry, laugh or sneeze in fear of invalidating our tests or getting a nose bleed.
We find our in 48 hours.
